Emergencies — do not phone So Energy

Smell gas? Call the free 24/7 National Gas Emergency line on 0800 111 999. Power cut? Call 105 free from any phone — both go to the network operator, not your supplier.

If So Energy can’t resolve it

Raise a formal complaint with So Energy first. If it isn’t resolved within 8 weeks (or you receive a deadlock letter), you can escalate free of charge to the Energy Ombudsman, whose decision is binding on the supplier.

While you’re here — are you on the right tariff?

If you’re calling about a bill, most people save more by checking their tariff than by negotiating. The Ofgem price cap is reviewed quarterly — see our price cap hub for the current figures.
